Bagnaia Storms To Sprint Victory As Ducati Dominate

Jorge Martin crashes out late on in title twist ahead of Italian GP

Bagnaia storms to Sprint victory as Ducati dominate

Martin takes the lead and fights hard with Marquez

Jorge Martin took victory in a dramatic and chaotic Spanish GP Sprint that saw both he and Marc Marquez crash out on the final lap. Martin clipped the back of Marquez and sent the Honda rider violently flying through the air, bringing out the red flags and ending the race.

The incident occurred on the final lap of the race, as Martin was attempting to overtake Marquez for the lead. Martin's bike clipped the back of Marquez's, sending the Spaniard flying through the air. Marquez landed heavily on his back and was stretchered off the track.

Martin was able to walk away from the crash, but he was visibly shaken. He said after the race that he was "very sorry" for what had happened and that he hoped Marquez was okay.

The crash overshadowed what had been a thrilling race up to that point. Martin had taken the lead on the first lap and fought hard with Marquez throughout the race. Marquez had closed the gap to Martin in the closing stages of the race, and it looked like he was going to challenge for the lead on the final lap.

However, Martin's crash put an end to that, and it handed the victory to Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia. Bagnaia had been running in third place for most of the race, but he was able to take advantage of the crash to move up to first place.

Bagnaia's victory gives him a valuable 12 points ahead of the Italian GP, which takes place on Sunday. Martin's crash has dented his title hopes, but he will still be one of the favorites for the race.
